After watching our favorite TV episodes, many of us take to Twitter to talk about them. Now, thanks to a recent deal between Nielsen and Twitter, that Twitter chatter will become its own ratings system. Called the “Nielsen Twitter TV Rating,” the hope is to measure the conversation that a TV show spurs on Twitter and make that rating available in the fall of 2013. More from TechCrunch here!
With this move, Nielsen can cling on to (some of) its relevance. I wonder how this will effect Bluefin Labs.
